How to stop the welcome email and the notifications for the Planner task comments popping out to users during the Teams Migration ?

For a new plan, the tool automatically suppresses the welcome email notifications. However the notifications for the Planner Comments cannot be suppressed.

When migrating existing plans, these notifications need to be disabled by the users to avoid receiving emails in their inbox. There are no APIs available to control this behaviour.

However for an existing plan, we can manually turn-off these notifications. Please refer the below link.
